Quick check on the Pensco site (usually the most thorough in terms of restriction definitions) indicates that the spouse of a descendent is a disqualified person, but does not mention the spouse of an ascendent, although direct descendents and ascendents are both disqualified.Like Mitch said...

For the 1 investor I met who did rent them he had the owner start a land trust, named himself the trustee, added him self to the insurance police or have the seller sign a limited power of attorney to legally be able to receive info and make changes on loans or insurance.

I was thinking about renting a unit out a little below market in exchange for a police person living there for presence.Would make the rift rafts go elsewhere is my reasoning.Another question is if you evict a tenant and the sheriff is there for you to throw their stuff out what happens if they are still there and they have a dangerous dog??
