its buying a property subject too the exisiting debt remaining in place.. its an advanced strategy that needs to be thought through from buyers side but especially the sellers side.. as the seller takes on in ordinate risk to their credit and equity if they have any.best used for short term flips.. you need to be very well cashed up to make these work... do not do this if your starting out with limited to no cash reserves you can find yourself in a pickle very quickly and have a VERY unhappy seller
