If the foundation and the floor beams look fine and the slope you're referring to is on the first floor than it's probably not an issue.

Anyone have an idea what it takes or the cost to repair a cracked pier on a pier and beam foundation?

There are plenty of opportunities for income producing or growth, even just in REITs if you are laser focused on real estate.I think the questions to ask are "tough" as in they aren't really questions.
