Not to sound harsh, but even considering doing this sort of renovation without a licensed contractor or a permit is foolish.Also, many states have programs where if there were issues with a license contractor, there are funds that can provide some type of remediation.

To me, it means they are responsible for ordinary maintenance one would do as a home owner, which means changing out the filter or adding chemicals to the water.

Because when you don’t know anything about construction, don’t have enough money to finance, and nobody in your life owns a piece of property, and you and only you are responsible for supporting yourself, it’s pretty easy to just lose focus of other things around you   Tyler, the harsh reality is you need to get around NEW PEOPLE.

Learn to manage these bumps in the road or consider exiting.I think you are being a little too harsh here.Sounds like they are new to the business and the last thing you expect is someone threatening to sue you while refusing to leave the property in question, which they claim is causing them harm.I've never come across this before.

They are not as cheap anymore as you would think, and they need a LOT of work - cutting for the windows/doors is a pain, the interior wood door has been sprayed with deadly chemicals, etc.
