I would definitely recommend for you to get your license if your debating it, it’s not a difficult course and it can be done after work.The base knowledge you get from taking the course is really valuable.I took courses after work at a Coldwell Banker branch ( Oak Brooke) and the teacher was amazing.They offer very flexible hours- I personally took the night class ( 6-10 pm) 4 days a week, for a total of 90 hrs.

I am fresh out of college and began my career and a teacher this year.

The situation is that she is a school teacher who lives an hour and a half from here but was hired to work here locally this year.  

Well the teachers union wants more money, every pension fund is under water in every city dept. crime is at an all time high so more money will be needed to fight it, and the only way to deal with it especially in the democratic Chicago machine is to raise taxes.

My parents were teachers, thanks for being one and working with our kiddos!

Welcome @Patrick Anibaldi, As a teacher, Im glad to see you wanting the best education for your family.

After all was said and done, we had made $100,000 while I was working full time as a math teacher making about $40k a year, but with summers off.

I'm actually a teacher by day and a real estate investor by night. 

It is still is in the first 10-day period open to owner occupants/ teachers/ etc., which would give me an advantage before other investors can snatch it up, and it would be my first home I've ever purchased, if that counts for anything.
