The city doesn't enforce shoveling the sidewalks so we don't either.

Then our politicians wonder why there are homeless people on the sidewalk in front of their businesses.Give me a break.

On a larger park, I would recommend a formal cost segregation study for this, but an 8 unit park is too small for that to make sense, so you can also assign a value in the bill of sale to include:Landscaping shrubbery & trees: 35 mature trees approx. 20’ tall each, pool equipment, roads: XXX square yards of asphalt paving, sidewalk and curbing, electrical pedestals, concrete pads, underground utilities for electric, sewer or septic, pool, clubhouse, etc. 

In addition to spending tourist dollars, I pay folks to mow lawns, clean yards, clean up the houses on turnover, shovel snow off sidewalks, paint, replace flooring, etc.  

It's should be worth $300k and I owe $208k This one also is close to a river and just recently the river flooded up to the sidewalk.

The more units under one roof, the more efficient the cost of salting is, as you will pay the same cost for the sidewalks whether 3 people walk on it or 30 people.I am not debating whether or not to plow or shovel the snow, only the salting component.
