Maybe they'll spend some money on the lighting and sidewalks and the road nearby, but don't give it too much weight.  

So how much life is left on your roof, water heater, furnace, decks, garage door, sidewalk, driveway and then take the years left and divide by the cost it takes to fix it.

They can walk the sidewalk and go into the ally to see them, and if the neighbors have easy access they can look from their property, but they can't go onto yours even if you just bought the property and had to pay for the inspection.2.

However, in a big snow I anticipate needing someone to clear the sidewalk and do some alley clean-ups since the City can ticket the Owner the sidewalks are not shoveled. 

Boston  requires the following:DO: Remove snow, slush, and ice from sidewalks and curb ramps abutting your property within 3 hours of snowfall ending (or 3 hours from sunrise if snow falls overnight) as required by law.

Parking lots and sidewalks need to be in good repair, with snow and ice removed, and generally level and free of exposure to slip and fall.

If you're the number 1 page on google but can't express your message in a way that appeals to your prospects.. then you're leaving dollars on the sidewalk.

The following is a partial list of things that wear out or become outdated over time and eventually need to be replaced for every property:-Roof-Siding-Hot water tank-Furnace-A/C system-Electrical system-Plumbing system (inside)-Sewer service line-Water service line-Any concrete exposed to the elements (sidewalks/porches)-WindowsIf you calculate the cost of replacing each of those items and divide them by the expected useful life, then sum that up, you'll come up with a monthly amount that you can expect to spend on capex over the long term.

@Matthew SpiegelMan, your sidewalks look pretty rugged -- I could be wrong, but from the pics it looks like the pieces are all sloping different directions.  

Is there a site plan that includes roadways, sidewalks and other infrastructure that you would have to build?
