Seems like the first installation method that requires no adhesive and the claim that "planks are extremely flexible and self-level above the substrate to create a flat surface, even over imperfect subfloors, making for an exceptionally easy installation" could be an issue when the subfloor is not level. If the basement level is in the ground by a certain percent it is considered a "cellar" and not a story so you are clear at 2 stories.

that is based upon the sq ft of the property, major areas &/or systems of a house, and the finish level I would need for a particular project.
