I feel the listing agent is going on a personal vendetta and owner is not even in the loop here.Anyways, I have 12 hrs to decide to fight this battle or move on.

I then have to do battle to get the assessed value reduced to purchase price, which they do finally but it is a minor battle.

So he wants a top of the market turnkey pricing but he is a poor operator... sounds like he needs a good property manager to fight the battles he is unwilling to fight.

You say the empty house is a burden to other residents...but how does holding his belongings hostage and keeping an ongoing battle with this hostile person benefit the residents??

I'm new too but in this business a non compete makes no sense. sounds like he is trying to sliim down his own comptetiton. careful about this guy, doesnt smell right already

I've found half the battle of selecting an applicant is avoiding drama and problems.
