Again, I have 100% equity in the house.I was asked why I don't get a home equity loan and the reasons are 1) My credit probably shows me to be a "ghost" since I have not had any sort of credit in the last 7-8 years and 2) I have worked for myself for the last decade and my income is usually in cash so, it would be impossible to prove any consistent income.I never would have thought that getting a short term loan under my circumstances could be difficult to put together.

The local authorities do have some autonomy in administering the program and you will find some differences in their processes and the ways they distribute their funds (IE - bedroom size calculations), but the property, landlord, and tenant standards should be consistent across the board.

Facebook Marketplace is even worse it seems...I swear many of them are just trolls trying to see if you’ll violate fair housing laws so just be careful in your wording in responses and be consistent.

When i call back later, when im available, i always apologize and say i was doing a walk through or looking at another property lol @Nzinga Augustoi personally wouldnt do #1 or #2 for a couple reasons, Lets say you get a call at 830 Am and the VA sends you the info......you cant call until after 5 anyway.......same thing your voicemail would do...........also, i would keep your costs low until youre getting consistent deals.......just my opinion.
