My wife and I have been wanting to get into real-estate for some time and finally put our plan in motion about 6 months ago.  

We can go through the motions and see where things shakeout once a deal is heading into hard territory. 

Hi @Dan Grove it looks like you have the order down right and just need to put everything in motion.

I'm no way near that point yet, but it's put the gears in motion for certain goals so I won't have to stretch to reach those goals at the last minute.

With the exception of Québec, the laws involved here are fairly uniform across the country - but as Gary pointed out, there are differences.

Purchased fake security cameras, signs and motion activated flood lights did the trick for me.

This whole idea is looking less and less possible (given the asking price for the land/building) but I might as well go through the motions to up my learning curve.
