This made me extremely suspicious of Pace and there is no way I would spend more than $150 for any information that he has to provide.

Hi there - In Ontario Canada, there is no vacancy clause, meaning leases that are for a longer term, like one year, go automatically into month to month, so I need an extremely good reason to evict. 

There are extremely advanced pm systems, but if the scope isn't significant then sometimes it's easier to work with some smaller fish.

I'm aware of those scams and I verify all employment by looking up the employer and calling or visiting them (last one would be for an extreme case, calling and internet sluething is good enough).
