Also, i think you'd be putting yourself in a potentially difficult/compromising position if you actually tried to live in the sorority house.If you triy to rent it section 8 you'll be remediating lead, replacing windows, and possibly destroying much of the historic character in order to get it up to modern standards in a cost effective manner.

I think Manor, Elgin, Taylor, Round Rock, Georgetown and Pflugerville are all excellent compromises to Austin due to the cost of housing in Austin.
