I learned this living in the Gambling capital of the word so when she said she is a guru I thought that she was a scam and a idiot.I started without any knowledge of real estate.

I kept getting spammed by these annoying "wholesalers."

After all, anything other than that is a gamble.

Josh the founder here has worked very hard to make sure the site has lots of content and little spam.

Today we removed groups from BiggerPockets.The move was a large one, but one that really had to happen for a few reasons:Groups were certainly effective for allowing people to show their interests, however for many years the vast majority of our groups were being used for one purpose: ads & spam.

I have been asked to focus on several things such as helping threads stay on topic, keeping threads moving if they still have value in them, welcoming new members to the site, and providing an extra set of eyes for inappropriate content/spam.

If you are OK with that gamble, go for it, and I hope that everything works out (which it does more often than it does not).
