So wrapping back to the question, it doesn't surprise me that it's kind of dormant because people I know that have money that might have been investors there are instead looking south and midwest. 

So use that as leverageAbout 2 years ago I was under contract for a 4 unit with dormant knob and tube in the attic.  

With condos going for +500K, you simply have too much equity in your properties and even though rents are high, they aren't that high to make it worthwhile to keep all that equity sitting dormant.

The "title holding LLC's" basically stay dormant while the Mgt LLC leasing out the property, collects rents, maintains the property, etc.

Good afternoon, I became a bigger pockets member a few years ago but stayed dormant due to having no skin in the game.

The basement was dry during our inspection and mold was dormant due to the cold temperatures. 

Grass goes dormant so it takes more than a year or two for it completely die.

I actually already have a dormant real estate LLC that can be used asap as a management company...hardest part might be setting up the business bank account.
