If a simple surveillance system (or maybe a dummy system) doesn't deter them, then perhaps you should go to a concealed surveillance system, something that can pick up their faces without them knowing it, and hopefully that will get them a free ride to prison.

In 2007, Washington D.C. had a murder rate of 31 murders per 100,000 population, while Columbus Ohio, where law abiding citizens are not only allowed to own guns, but are allowed to carry them (either openly or concealed), has a murder rate of only 11 murders per 100,000 population!

Make sure you lay down a primer coat FIRST and you can also fill in the cracks to conceal them.I also like the idea (although more expensive) is to just demo the current slab and then lay some pavers down, makes for a nice new and level patio.
