The primary reason for delay was this process:(a) contact attorney, get him lease and applicable info(b) attorney contact process server, send him demand letter(c) process server schedules and then executes service(d) process server sends paperwork back to attorney(e) court date is made based on attorney's availabilityThe third we did ourselves.

@DeJarian Dickson GrahamOne time I hired a process server that attempted 7 times with no luck (low cost process server so I didn't expect much)I ended up getting up at 5am and waiting outside the house to wait for him to get out to go to work to serve him personally.

I get that a lot of service sector people are temporarily (I hope) out of work, but I think in a month or two things will be back to normal, at least in terms of businesses reopening, servers, bartenders, etc back to steady work.

Furloughed and laid off employees will have their jobs back, and thankfully, especially servers and bartenders, they aren't waiting 2 weeks to get cash in hand.
