Just my opinion, it adds additional risk with both the lender calling it due as well as if there were ever a lawsuit and the attorneys caught it (which would be pretty easy to find) and were able to pierce the veil.

Will depend on several factors like the type of property, type of tenants, your risk tolerance, other assets you own, your estate planning, laws where the property is located, etc.Any lawsuits would be limited to the assets of the LLC and not your personal assets (assuming you run the LLC appropriately and the corporate veil is not pierced).

While an LLC may offer some upfront asset protection, it's not impossible or even difficult to pierce the corporate veil in the event of a loss under these conditions.
