I was thinking of installing window amd door sensors on all window and doors, as well as motion sensor on the first floor and second floor (its a 2 flr property).

I personally started investing myself while I was still in uniform and it certainly changed my family's future. 

The front and back stairwells, egresses and basement are recommended to have motion sensor lighting installed.

You  need to evict them when you close, change locks, get a Doberman Pincher, motion lights, and an alarm.  

Might need to put the birdbath away as well as the bird feeders.Third, use light and sound emitting devices that come on when they detect motion at night.

At that point it is worth your time to go through all the motions. 

The rules for the program are the same for active duty/Guard/Reserve/veterans, whether in uniform or after service.You have a set amount of entitlement you can use, meaning, based on the number of units (SFR vs duplex vs triplex vs quadplex) and county (some counties are more expensive than others, so you'll need to look up the specific county as the amount can vary) in which the property is located.  

The answer is yes, but they will confirm it and may even be able to reference the page from the Uniform Building Code, to which your city is compliant. 

With that said, if you can figure out what is going on and put things in motion, it's a great opportunity.
