I'd imagine it would be prudent to have additional personal back up reserves in place for worst-case scenario big-ticket items early on.I've received confirmation from the seller that the roof will be replaced and that the home will be getting a "complete rehab", but since the work hasn't begun yet, I haven't gotten anything in writing.
