Hi,I'm new to real estate investments and want to know how to go about meeting trustworthy promoters?

I am not referring to the Ninja loans but some practical guidelines that encourage responsible lending and promote home ownership.I am not trying to make this a political post but I would like to see what the consensus fellow BP'ers think.

I don't think it is a good idea to promote the idea that your property is somehow substandard or improperly maintained if this is the case.
