The registered agent is listed on all the documents, not the property owner.Your Operating Agreement should list members and authority.

My advice would be to politely decline and stick with your current strategy.

@Paul Bogard Any real estate agent who promotes themselves as an agent who is a specialist on renting out bedrooms should be moved to the bottom of the list of people to take real estate advice from..... 

Any advice you get here you should take with a grain of salt if you already looked up the law yourself.
