I have already asked my family to make sacrifices in the budget arena, which is healthy, but I will never put my family into a positin where they may be in danger, regardless of the money to be made.

I put a good chunk in my 401k and do get a healthy match.

I'll begin by first establishing that my fiance and I have a very healthy relationship.

@Chris Drumm I don't think that's bad at all; as long as you're cash flowing a healthy amount each month, you should be fine.

That one decision has helped me to catapult my investing career because it gave me a healthy chunk of cash to be able to use to invest, rehab, have reserves, etc.If I understand the BRRR strategy, I believe that usually involves getting a hard money loan to purchase and rehab the property and then you can refinance into a conventional loan, right?  

I guess a healthy dose of humility is always the right prescription.Thank you all for the words of wisdom BP.  

However; I will say that using HML to do deals means your deals have to have a very healthy profit margin.
