Inflation will prove to be sticky and stay above the 2% target at around 4%.

Hi @Rose Ventura, I'm a college student in the Houston area (Rice University) interested in learning more about real estate investing and meeting investors/others in the field here in Houston. 

I'm a college student myself, and I've actually just moved into a new place near my university (Rice University in Houston).

I would be iffy on co-signing with anyone...especially because it is family and if/when stuff goes wrong that can be a sticky situation.

You can try to get that info from a neighbor or leave a sticky note on the front door or other visible area (like the mail box) where the heirs are and/or what your purpose is including your willingness to help them solve any problem.Good luck to you!

STR is a really sticky thing and it's continually changing (look at what happened in NYC!). 

My advice would be to get a good tenant screening process in place so you can do your best to avoid sticky situations like that.

When that happens, the plug gets hot and the receptacle and the wall directly above it get black sticky smudges, like these.Can a plug in scent device, when running out of oil for days, still burning to the point of staining the receptacles and walls, pose a safety risk?
