You will fall down many times but you'll need  to get up and  brush yourself off and continually try again until you acquire your desired affect. 

There are many scam ones that run a little brush through and charge you, but the reputable ones can fully scrub the ducts.

The point many have tried to make to you which you have rudely brushed off is that people are buying with significant downs...sure the wealth distribution is wide but many are still buying and investing.
