I think that's a pretty broad brush to be painting everyone with.

I feel the same way.I think we should be slow to paint everybody teaching notes with the same brush.

I like a challenge so tend to brush these comments off, but it's a little discouraging when folks in the business are down on REI.

That said, as a Denver guy, I haven't really brushed up on my San Diego municipal code.As some others have said, whatever the rules are, getting caught is whole other question.

Then I cut apricots in the summer.. then at 13 I talked my way on to a fuller brush door knocking crew and learned first hand that sales were where its at..

We also provide a welcome basket that gives them items to get through a few days so they don't have to go shopping right when they arrive (2 toilet paper rolls, 1 paper towel roll, small dish soap, small hand soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, 3 garbage bags, scrub brush for dishes, a few coffee pods, some sugar packets, etc).

There is much more to painting than opening a can of paint and picking up a brush.

My residents do not touch a brush or roller unless they are a professional painter by day.  

You don't want to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.If this woman has "your best interest at heart" as you claim, she should be willing to absorb some of this loss on her side of the ledger, or at the very least work out some kind of credit moving forward.It's not fair to paint them all with the same broad brush, but it seems when it is not their own money being spent, many PMs seem quite cavalier about this sort of thing.
