The style will be contemporary/mid-century modern/modern.  

Brick will last for literally generations, centuries even, without ever having to mess with siding or painting.

At the turn of the 20th century, we still had a vast majority of Americans still working on farms and some of the top companies were saddle makers.

So cities like Detroit that have been suffering from population decline, dilapidated housing stock, high crime, high taxes, poor tenant base, cops that won’t go to certain neighborhoods never mind PMs etc.... what’s to stop those areas that have had poor fundamentals for the better part of a century from reverting back to what they were before the recent influx of outside capital?

Personally, I like the character of older homes, especially mid century modern, but this is all about business, so I'm willing to look at other properties.
