You have to be able to brush it off and just keep going.

I use a scrub brush eucalyptus oil mixture on my Corian insert.

Winging it as you state over time becomes your style and you probably started winging it kind of the exact same way to different audiences  :)I started at 14 selling Fuller brush door to door  we had scripts but then I would just ad my own brand...

They tell you to F off and in the meantime, you brush it off, do it again, and get better each time.  

well my bedside manner could use some brushing up.. but I think you got the point across much more eloquently than I.I am sure the "the date of your choosing"  is fine.. however since I get multiple yellow letters green cards and all other manner of direct mail ( because we own many properties with no debt in the popular markets)  folks just use the same verbiage so ya its old and done for me personally... and if you have a potential seller gets 5 post cards and they say the exact same thing literally... then I think there is some credibility lost ....

My parents car was nearly hit by a 25' tree - it actually brushed the back of the car.

Look for people who have specific catalysts and are pulling their hair out, preferably in big clumps.Don't show up with hair spray and brushes.

Unfortunately I feel like I keep getting brushed aside since "that's not what all the pro-HELOC people are saying".  

Every investor should read it and have a copy handy to brush up on if needed.
