Hope this helps.You would need to submit plans for the second story, go through plan check, get a permit, build, have that permit finaled, then come back to us with the plans to convert.One thing I want to make clear is that the new addition must be interior connected to the house, but in order to qualify as a JADU when converted, will need an additional entry.
