Well as you can see person A is a UAW and Person B is a PAW.   

Just because they are BP members does not give the person a pass .. still need to do your due diligence if your going to do business with anyone you meet here  ( myself included :)  ) However on Balance this site has just been Incredible for me personally.And that's one business man or women's opinion that anyone who spends time on Social media like this is not doing deals. 

If you have to rent to someone for more than 30 days, you should screen the person as being a tenant, which means background check, credit check and security deposit, and any other thing that is customary in your area.While the screening doesn't guarantee that a situation like Cory's won't happen to you, but it surely minimize the risk.Or you could just avoid the risk altogether by not renting for more than 30 days.Disclaimer:This is not legal advice.

With media and public persona, the weight of these perceived "successful leglistalion" tactics, are being placed on landlords backs.

Me I speak like a friggin' sailor but he maintains a very different public persona than what we hear on the phone when his hair is down so to speak.

REI is a seriously entrepreneurial pursuit, yet this site seems to treat entrepreneurs as almost "persona non grata".There isn't even an entrepreneurial focus to the approach to REI among senior people on the site on the BP side or on the community side.BP tries to be educational through it's "free courses".
