Did I calculate anything incorrectly?

This is an incorrectly done contract that ties a Residential lease to a One to four Residential Contract for Resale. the "Effective Date" section was never filled in or completed by Broker.

Because he made a note of tweaking the thermostat config while he was troubleshooting everything else, the warranty company denied my claim because the "system was configured incorrectly" which voided the warranty for the entire heating system.

I don't know the nitty-gritty details -- I'm sure Ned will chime in if I say anything incorrectly -- but I would surmise that the city is selling the lien, which gives the buyer all the rights of a lien-holder.

Yes, HUD did show it as an IE property with a certain amount in repairs, however there number was completely incorrect according to the last inspection done.
