In my utopian world I want to simply say whoever brings me the deal I go with first I will go with that person as my agent.

Call or mail that person a letter if phone doesn’t work.

Focus on the person as the conduit for the house.

Though I've done lots of virtual assisting so far, I'm finding that in my area there's not as much of a need for virtual assistant stuff, but there is a need for someone to be local for "back up" in case there is an issue in person, as many owners live too far away to respond. $300 is a base rate for strictly being on call, and if I get called in or do other tasks, I will charge hourly. 

Most of the time it doesn't look as good in person as on Google earth.  

My understanding is that they offered this person a mortgage free home in exchange for a home that was structurally about to collapse.

So who exactly would be "ripped off" anyway.Just seems real harsh to call this person a rip off artist and aren't we all "wannabies" when we start something new?

I suspect if Pruner would have dug deep into this person a little bit he may not have done business with him that was my mistake.. 

Especially with a person as young as I am.2.) 

@Linda Weygant @Kevin Coggins  when he mentions negative gearing that is a distinctly Australian term.. for whatever its worth you will not hear US investors mention that or even know what it means. internet is a wild thing.. when you can create all these persona's.
