When we built condos we would get warranty complaints which included the wolf oven took to long to heat up (though it was taking the time it mentioned in the manual), that the dual flush toilets do not work (I had to get a letter from Kohler about how much you know what is typicaly in a flush and what it could handle)....

What I mean by that is the LLC is to protect your assets, so if you're just starting out and don't really have such a high degree of risk then I would argue that it's worth doing everything under your personal name and expect to grow to the point where your first few properties will be flushed out anyway, and therefore you'll be in a much better position to take possession under an LLC, limited partnership, Etc.

Typically 1x4's were attached to the sides of the floor joist flush with the bottom. 1x material was bridged across those 1x4's to form a space for the cinders.
