One more reason why long-distance management is a bad idea.

My customer service sector manages a lot of my internal affairs and we've undergone many changes during this ongoing pandemic that have disrupted business.

This will allow the team to develop and review project processes and management strategies to move forward with more challenging, yet rewarding, properties.I come from a very process-oriented background (Mechanical Engineering), and my goal is to learn and develop each step of the process, from start to finish, to continuously improve the team and ROI of each project. 

I have a property manager for my STR and manage some of the LTRs myself.

1) I always use zillow to list new properties and use there platform to accept zillow applications2) Doorloop for management that includes accounting, repository for documents like leases, collect rents, tenant communications3) Received lease agreement from a lawyer

Im more a hands on learning definitely and as far as living in a unit i couldn't yet because its out of the kids school district  plus the limited space. but thats the goal, to buy a small air or inn to manage and run for work while still renting in our district and then looking to buy since we're renters again!

It does give some great data but would need to verify with a local agent/contractor/property management company etc 

Sounds like its time to sell since the HOA fee just doubled which usually means the HOA has not been managed properly and failed to build a strong reserve account.
