Since we inhabited only the one half of duplex, how does that effect the capital gains relief of $500k for married taxpayers?

That's been a big relief to since my guest list has declined due to Covid-19.

While having more homes to choose from provides some relief for home buyers, this is still considered to be a "seller's market".

So many of us need this relief.

Lots of free money from relief programs have dried up and the rise in wages has been about half the rate of inflation (of which housing is a key metric of).
