I have done zero coaching (except KW BOLD and KW in-office coaching as an agent), but I have read tons of books- Power of Habit, You Are a Badass, Millionaire Next Door, Psychology of Money and so many more.... and I have done very well in real estate- both as an agent and as an investor.

@Anthony Wick When you agree with these types of “tax the rich” because it won’t effect me sentiments shown in this thread (I know you didn’t necessarily agree with it and you were just wondering how many people would really be effected by it) it has a psychological effect on you.

So there is a lot of market psychology involved in the determinations. 

Feel like this psychologically is letting them know that I am getting less than the buyer is offering.  

Like my stock trading mentor use to tell me all the time nothing beats experience, the correct psychology and the best move can be sitting on your hands. 

Great book that really goes into depth about stock market psychology and some strategies for investing in the stock market.

I lost my mind over this because of psychological trauma from having bedbugs in a hotel room when I was in Nepal and I ended up in the hospital, but that's a story for another day haha.

Had they just sold the property they were psychologically "stuck in", and re-invested, they could have recovered with a 100%+ gain instead of a 50%+.Anways, I don't actually think this is a good strategy for everyone.

Investors are misreading the psychology if they think that having my own personal cash in a deal is going to cause their investment to perform any differently.  

So it's really just psychological comfort vs math.
