Warranty FunctionalityTypically, the warranty provided by builders covers any defects or issues arising from their workmanship or the materials used.

While turnkey properties often have cosmetic improvements such as new paint, carpet, and appliances, they don’t always address plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and other system defects.

Couldn't the policies be combined, to protect the interest of all entitled parties to defects?

Do not go with chalk paint as some recommend until you reflect a moment on why “ chalking” is considered a paint defect.

Even brand new homes have defects and you won't know about them until you own it and have that track record.

This allows you to see all the defects with the property without spending $700 on a report.

But says the seller, that's what I paid for title insurance for, so I wouldn't have to worry about title defects. 

If a contractor has worker's comp, if someone dies while doing a work, worker's comp covers it, it does not cover any damage on your property, the contractor bond protect you from workmanship defect and non-payment to subs/workers/suppliers, CGL protects you from damages.
