Haha so it's always a puzzle to get to the source of finding investors.

Lots more questions than answers, but it sounds like its time to dig in and see what parts of the puzzle you can figure out, and try to estimate the missing pieces to come with your potential offer price.  

Then you find the company that is aligned with helping you achieve your goals and they are a piece of YOUR puzzle and part of your team. 

The last piece of the puzzle that needs to fall in place...
