Right after I hung up I called the other occupant and I was told Person A might be getting ready for work.

If a customer isn't going to be profitable to my business, I'd prefer not to have that person as a customer.  

IMHO you don't want this person as a tenant.

This is perfectly balanced reasoning and he can reject a different tenant whose picture is similar in that it has an eviction but other components aren't there to overcome it.The key to avoiding discrimination problems is to always evaluate the person as an individual.

This learning curve makes a person a better REI.  

Personally I like having a friend or local person as the "manager" for a flat fee - not a % of rent - who cleans once a month and most importantly, HAS EYES ON THE INSIDE regularly for you. 

That got their attention and they even offered to build this person a brand new house to make them happy (on a different lot).

The average person, as indicated here, has such a low understanding of finance that they are more concerned with payments than they are with the price of the car, the operating expenses of the car, and the depreciation of the value of the car.

Person A having a $300/month health insurance policy, and Person B having a $100/month health insurance policy along with a $200/month vodka addiction, does not mean that A is worse than B.

Then, after I make them explain themselves, I say, "Okay, I'll be happy to rent to this person as soon as I have another vacancy (if I have already rented it to someone else).
