They said they thought I knew they wanted to purchase the house and that they had till the end of the month to close but they would go back to their lender for more money.Their lender now asked me to see a copy of the amendment to the lease that changed the purchase price.

Essentially the Land Use Attorney advised that while HOAs can make amendments (if permitted in the deed) they cannot make amendments that run counter to the Deed Restrictions that were in force at the time that the property was purchased.

If you didn't agree to the new terms it is over but he didnt sign anything so it cant even be an amendment to an agreement. if he signed the original agreement and you said nvm then maybe.. depends on the contract!
