Kitchen cabinets in particular are filthy. 

I have the room to add cabinets and a peninsula, should I consider that?

Comes with all cabinet doors and hardware along with windows that need to be installed as well.It has a garage but it's been converted to another living room.

Hi - we're looking for a source for discount cabinets besides the big box stores.

Let's say I did one of the following: buy a computer for looking for properties, bought a file cabinet for bookkeeping, go to lunch with real estate agents to help plan my business, drive to look a potential deals.

get a set of plans and bid them out.. add up all the bids and that is your cost.excavation.. foundation rough plumb rough heat framing windows roof siding insulation and sheet rock.. probably cabinets as well.then you can take it from there do your own finish work  paint  .. hire out flooring and granite counters etc. and you can do the finish plumb and electrical but I would have the same people that did the rough do that all for one price.

Even things like kitchen cabinets have a "useful" life.

This one needs minimal updates (paint, refinish existing hardwood floors, update kitchen cabinets (small kitchen, which is customary to area)).

My question for the BP community is given by budget constraint of $1,050 should I stain the cabinets, replace and stain new cabinet doors, try to install new cabinets on my very limited budget or wait until I have a bit more $ and have the contract replace new cabinets and counter tops all at one time.
