My parents live there as well.

My thought is: I find one worth the money in the $10-12k range, buy it outright, live in it (in the park) for about a year until I save enough to get another one, then rent out the first one.

I live in Montreal, Canada, one of the safest places in the world to live in.

There was a disconnected phone line, no website, people living in motorhomes illegally and only about 50 percent occupancy (some of those people weren't paying).

@Sushil Iyer we lived in Texas for about a dozen years and still have property there - one of which is a mid term rental in Temple.

So live in the ADU and STR the house?

This motel has 16 private rooms, 4 shared bathrooms,  1 kitchen and living room.

But that is often an "apples to oranges" comparison unless you're going to live in the property/house hack.Got it.
