Some good areas to find nice rentals in these two, and lower priced homes here versus south Minneapolis and the burbs.I would be happy to assist if you need boots on the ground to do some scouting for you as I am familiar with all of the above.

I have been scouting out numerous properties there, and I'm looking to build a team during my time in town.

Some of my clients over the years have influenced me to get into investing and scouting.

On the property side, you'll need to scout our areas, find a broker, look at properties, and find one or more to make an offer on.

I'd recommend hiring a broker that works with investors to help you scout the area.  

I'm already scouting other areas. 

As I am new to this I know that I could scout HAR, Tulia, Zillow, etc. to try and find what I think might be a good deal, but I would feel more comfortable having a real estate agent there to help find and let me know what the good deals are.

I currently work in Rockland County as a construction project supervisor and scouting the area for my first deal, It would be great to have a meet up and meet some people with experience in the area, please keep me updated if anything happens. 

I would definitely drive down from NY to attend a meeting and do some scouting.

In a good relationship they will even scout out new properties for you that are not listed with a realtor.
