Well, sounds like a great deal for your stepmom, but I'm failing to see how it's a good deal for you any way you slice it.

It really doesn't matter, paying back $20K is way better than $33K or $38K no matter how you slice it.

But it was only a small slice of my nest egg.Finally, know what you're doing when you get involved.
