They should be able to scout out some prospective properties for you prior to your trip, so you can spend your time looking at the best prospects that fit your criteria.A good agent is going to know the market, guide you to the best properties that meet your investment goals, and hopefully locate some off market properties for you to consider as well.  

@Hai G, what resources do you scout to look for property, I will be buying my first property September and want to flip, any pointers without a Real Estate license?

My husband and I were scouting out Las Vegas in Dec 2017 and could not find much that would provide steady cash flow.

Being a property scout, door knocker, social media poster, letter writer and mailer, and ANY other part of lead generation and management are NOT illegal.
