While design is what flows through my blood, I want real estate to be flowing right there next to it and my plan is to get enough rental properties under my belt in order to build and design my products at my leisure.

I have all me rental requirements (3x rent for income, credit score above 600, no evictions etc etc) in my listing as well as all the property details- it covers 99% of the info a tenant would need...... but I still get asked the same questions.....instead of screaming at them "ITS IN THE LISTING"......

First so that they do not loose all (to others who buy when blood is in the streets, preservation of principle is the first rule) and secondly so they can scoop up the deals.There are countless examples of great investors who are patient, not getting overleveraged/overexposed, and then when the right situation/oppurtunity comes, they are prepared and sometimes the only bidder.

If someone decides to start screaming discrimination. 

if I got an email like that from any potetenital business partner or vendor I would run screaming.

I was in the construction office the other and watched a man finally resort to screaming that it has been 2 years and he hasn't been able to get finished because of the city - and I know this is true.

I’ve been burned bad in real estate because I didn’t heed the roadblocks that were screaming at me (luckily it was over a 15 years ago and I’ve recovered), but, it’s still a venture that can cause great freedom or great pain.

Step 2, go buy Glenn Gary Glenn Ross and watch it over and over until you wake up in the morning screaming "COFFEE IS FOR CLOSERS".

And, by now, they already know about all of your assets, your employment, etc.Since this was personal liability, even if you had your rental in an entity it would still be at risk here.Hindsight is always 20/20 but this screams as an example of why having adequate insurance is a must.

I personally don't like the subway tile, they scream hospitals to me, however I'm from Europe, maybe the hospitals here are different. :)I will choose the glass tiles.
