Do It Yourself (DIY) and syndication can co-exist and provide a platform for you to grow, learn and make money...I think its ideal as you spend the next year learning from books, BP, syndicator deals you are intentional in, etc.... 

REI groups are a great way to get out there and meet people and I feel the networking platform on BP is just as valuable.

There are some benefits of shielding, but it doesn't really matter because the crowdfunding platform will know who you are anyway.Set up as an investment vehicle, you will have the ability to offset your income with expenses that you pay to run it.

This will sure be interesting to watch as it essentially gives the platform the ability to invest in deals without people choosing each deal.

Point well taken… but there is more to consider.I agree that Excel is the ideal platform for analyzing and projecting income-property performance.

I will tell you though, that I'm moving over to Fund That Flip or another crowdsourcing platform.

I have been on this platform for a few years now and have made some good connections here.

I located a nice clip that personifies much of the industry:Pay no attention to that man behind the curtainOne can hope that things don't end in a fiery ball of flames, but given how many of the "prominent" platforms are currently financed I am far less bullish than I was years ago.  

Been working on a similar platform to Lead Propeller but more on the agent side, so I've been thinking about all this a lot lately.
