I would suggest that the day you get your keys to the property, knock on their door to introduce yourself, hand them the 60 day notice with an explanation why wanted to do that in person, and try to form a meaningful connection!

Not saying that makes it a good reason or good deal but some folks just dont know what to do.If the seller is in the business of making loans there should be a better file and explanation of their document level.

Present it as just a way you do business and you won't get any push back.If a tenant needs some explanation on why it is necessary just tell them that your property insurance does not protect their belongings and for the cost it is really a no brainer for them.

Jonathan, plenty of people make money as landlords in Austin but it is rough.Chicago has some very tough areas yet Austin has more murders than all of them - Chicago Homicide 2019To be fair it's also one of the largest geographical areas and the north side of it is different than the southside of Austin.

If you do that and the lender gets huffy, that would be a red flag.I'm sure the lender wants the deal to close and to stay in good standing with your broker, so if there isn't a good explanation for what you saw on the fee estimate I'm guessing they would modify things if the buyer pressed the issue.
