Everything I brush up agains turns to gold!

Worth reading in my opinion, whether you're new to investing or not, it's great to brush up and use as a reminder. 

I try not to paint all foreclosures with the same brush.  

I'm going to brush up on it and see if that will put my mind to rest. 

Trim, doors cabinets etc. we usually spray - but those can be brushed and look professional if the painter is skilled.  

On another property, the owners had a dog that obviously brushed up against the sheers and curtains.

Using a lambs wool applicator on a pole and a paint brush for the edges, apply a coat of sanding sealer.  

They don't know what you know.If they do try to call a realtor they would often get the brush off.

Cheap, but effective, options: ensure all hardware matches (brushed nickel is a safe bet), light fixtures, light/electrical plates are not dingy yellow... and make sure the front door and landscaping are inviting.Remember, like attracts like.
