Do you promote your real estate business a little or a lot?

This is how I bought my first rental.Also, when you get those credit card offers to give you a zero percent balance transfer, you can simply write yourself [or LLC] a check for the full amount of the line available on the card and use that money for free during the promotion period [usually 12-24 months].

They were teaching about trust deed programs and the irrevocable trust they promote (for a small fee for a certificate of course) was prepared by one of their lawyers. 

He knew about -business, -legal issues, -tax issues, -marketing, -sales, -promotion, -networking, and most importantly he knew about people (psychology).The first thing he did was tell me that you have two ears and one mouth, and y should listen more than I talk.Second thing he did was have me read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. 

I order 500 or so bottles of water with labels promoting whatever business I'm working for at the time, get myself a giant (i do mean giant, 250 quart capacity minimum) ice chest and give them away.

Thanks for the name, it's good to know who promotes such stuff.I suggest you stop listening to gurus and podcasts to learn RE.Any idea how much trust would go into your person 800 miles away inspecting your deal?

They need to sell.The reason I started this thread is that I have heard from a lot of “guru’s” promotions that investors can take over properties in pre-foreclosure SUB2 and sell them to make a profit.
