@Benjamin Galetti thing is the listing said there was a new roof and when the inspector came back and said no deficiencies were found on the roof I had no reason to second guess until the GC said there were multiple spots on the roof that needed immediate addressing.

Hey @Benjamin Freed, yea so like others have stated, those rules apply if you're trying to rent less than 30 days, so anything over that is not considered a short term rental. also, depending on your location, mid term rentals are a really great cash flow opportunity.
