I understand the sentiment, but I think it will have more negative effects.The problem is with enforcement.

If they don't pay within 30 days, you can enforce. 

However, to my knowledge, as of now that is not something that the city is actively enforcing against.

There should be timeframes for the lien to be enforced and brought to court otherwise it just goes away. 

After a great 35 years in law enforcement in Northeast Ohio, I would not begin to be "eerie" through a single post on BP. 

Ten years ago, there was almost zero code enforcement so you have a bunch of nonsense that you may not catch with pre-existing stuff and you may get hit with some monster issues down the road.
